Contact sheet/ Test print

     The best technical aspect on my work I think was making the test strip on the small piece of paper. I took a contact sheet of my negatives then made a test strip. The amount of light that came out the best was 6 seconds. What I need to work on would be hen making my  contact sheet to make sure that the negative doesn't move so that way the image comes out clear.
     The easiest part about this project was making the contact sheet. Because all you really need to do was make the negative come out on the small piece of paper. The hardest part about this activity was trying to make it come out right. It always came out to dark or to light. I just had to keep do it over and over again till it finally came out right.
      If I could do this again I would use a difrent picture so there would be more values of grey. I think it would look a lot better if I did that. I think i did what was asked i made my contact sheet and made my big print.

   

Coffee Can Camera

 

     In the coffee can camera or pin hole camera, the strongest aspect of my work would be that we were able to get a picture to come out. The technical aspect of my work that needs to improve is making the positives of the negative picture. We could not find a way that it would not come out to dark. 

     The easy part about this was making the pin hole camera. All we and to do was black out a can then put tin foil all around it then out the hole in it. The hardest part was trying to make the positives. They just did not want to come out so you could see them. 

    I think that we demonstrated the objective in this activity because we did successfully make the image come out. If I could have done this again I would try to get the picture to come out bigger then it is right now. I believe that if it was bigger it would have a lot more information so when we try to make a positive I think it would have come out a lot better. 

Photogrames

     We did Photogrames to learn how light affects photo paper and how to paint with light. In my photograms I think the best technical aspect of my work would be that I was able to get all shades of black white and gray in my work. The technical aspect that I need to work on in my work world b making sure that the photo paper does not get light exposed.

     The easiest part of making the photograms was setting up the enlarger to what ever f-stop it needed to be set at. The most difficult part was trying to find things to make all the shades of gray.

     I belive that i demonstrated the objective in the photograms because i was able to get all the shades of gray in all of my photograms. If I could do this again i would make them more interesting to look at.

Polaroid frames

In my picture of the dancer I think the strongest technical aspect of my picture is how I used the polygonal lasso tool to get rid of pieces of the polaroids that I didn't want or how I got rid of the background of the original picture. The technical aspect that I need to work on was blending the back round so it does not look like a bunch of pictures on top of each other. 

The easy part about this activity was putting the polaroids around the picture, and getting rid of the things I didn't want in the picture. For me the hard part about this activity was trying to make the background It was hard to think of things to put on it. 

I believe that I demonstrated the objective in this activity because I believe I tried my best at what was asked. If I could redo this activity I would change the background.

facial retouch

The strogest technical aspect of my work in my opinoin would be how I used the eyedropper to take the light part of her hair and lighten the rest of it. The Technical aspect that I need to work on would be healing tool. I could have made her skin look even better I think.

The easy part about this activity would be redoing the hair. It was very easy making it look lighter. The hardest part was the using the healing brush to clean up the face.

I think that I did the objective in this project because I did change her face and I tried to make her look better. And if I could redo this project I would take a lot more time on it and change things a lot more.

In my picture of the pond, my strongest technical aspect in my picture in my opinion would be the water fall cause it is the center of my picture and it is the focus of the picture. A technical aspect i could have worked on would be the background and the tree is could have made them look a little different and that way they rant just brighter. 

The easy part about this activity would be that all I really had to do was paint over everything and i just used colors that made it look real still.The most difficult part of this picture was i was trying to make it look realistic and paint over it at the same time. 

I demonstrated the objective in this activity because i did what was asked of the project i believe. If I could do this again I would change the colors so it woulnt look real.
